"The Infamous Stringdusters" Thursday night.... they played to a packed house on a Freaking Thursday night..
and what a Band... an Amazing Two Hours show... was it fun... I even had a Beer that night.. well maybe two.. maybe 3.... Let us know what yout thought.

The Infamous Stringdusters concert couldn't have been better. This was my 7th time seeing them, at venues from a fairly huge open-air festival (i.e., ROMP)to a university concert hall (i.e., in Normal, IL) to a moderately-sized listening room/bar (e.g., the now-extinct Lucas School House), yet the one setting I was suspicious about turned out to be a terrific venue--and the band responded, full-bore. The only problem is now you may never have another concert that tops the 'Dusters! 'Twas awesome: great sound, intimate setting, and virtuoso bluegrass/newgrass!
WAY TO GO BOB BELL......WHAT A GREAT SHOW....IT IS TRUE "IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME " ..BEEN WAITIN FOR THE DUSTERS TO COME TO WILDWOOD, AND THEY LOOKED RIGHT AT HOME...THEY EVEN MENTIONED AFTER THE SHOW WHAT A COOL PLACE YOU HAVE....GOOD FOOD, COLD BEER , GREAT MUSIC....YEP, THURSDAY NIGHTS CAN BE GOOD FOR US ALL....I THINK THEY DEFINATELY WANT TO COME BACK.....AND YES " WE WILL COME "
Infamous Stringdusters - What a surprise! Talent on loan from Ralph Stanley! They are such young musicians; yet, their performance Thursday evening surpassed other well-seasoned, veteran bluegrass ensembles. We've seen Ricky Skaggs and he's good. These young men are even better! The close harmony gave us chill bumps! It was classic bluegrass without being twangy -- you know what I mean? Sure hope they come back again because we will, too!
Absolutely loved it! Would definitely like to see/hear these guys again.
This concert was great, one of the best we have seen at Wildwood Springs. The musicians were awesome to watch and listen to. I wish I had known they were that good, we would have brought a bigger crowd with us! Next time, we will.
